INTRODUCTION
MOHIT SINHA
1982 – Born to XXXXXXX and XXXXXX
1988 - Mohit spent 6 years in Tilothu and after the political assassination of his father, Madhur Sinha, he had to leave Bihar and went to boarding school.
Late 1980s - Early 1990s: Mohit attended The Lawrence School, Lovedale, where he was actively involved in editorial work, debates, and public speaking.
1990s: Mohit pursued a B.A. (Hons.) degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. During this period, he served as the President of the Students Union, led the Informal Discussion Group, and was President of the Music Society.
2020-2021: Mohit completed his Ed.M. (Master of Education) degree in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
2000s: Collaborated with Dr. Pratap Bhanu Mehta at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) in New Delhi, contributing to government programs like the II Administrative Reforms Commission and the JN National Urban Renewal Mission.
2000s: Worked at the Centre for Public Policy at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, where he was involved in mid-career training programs for Indian Administrative Service officers.
2008-2013: Served as a Master at Welham Boys School, Dehra Dun, teaching History and becoming the youngest Middle School Coordinator in the school’s history.
2013-Present: Joined The Doon School, Dehra Dun, as a History teacher and became one of the youngest Housemasters of Jaipur House.
2019: Hosted three episodes of the TV show “India: Marvels and Mysteries” on The History Channel, aired in September 2019.
2021-Present: Active Political Engagement After returning from Harvard in 2021, Mohit Sinha has fully dedicated himself to grassroots politics through the Jan Suraaj movement. He has walked over 3,000 villages in the Jan Suraaj Padyatra, actively engaging with people across Bihar. Committed to improving his region, he has been consistently meeting with residents in Sasaram, understanding their needs, and working tirelessly to bring about meaningful change in the community.
